Frequently asked questions
About Urban Property List, the data on this site and listing a property.
What is Urban Property List?
A city-focused real estate listing platform. We help people find homes, condos and rentals in U.S. metro areas, and help owners list properties to reach urban buyers and renters.
Where does the market data come from?
Metro and regional prices come from the National Association of REALTORS® quarterly metro report (Q2 2026). Mortgage rates come from Freddie Mac's weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey. Every figure links to its source.
How often is the data updated?
NAR publishes metro prices quarterly — the next release is October 29, 2026. Freddie Mac publishes mortgage rates every Thursday.
Can I list my property?
Yes. Use our listing form with your property details and we'll get back to you about listing it.
Is the affordability checker a loan approval?
No. It's a quick estimate using the common 28% guideline. Your actual budget depends on your lender, credit, debts, taxes and insurance.
Is Urban Property List free to use?
Yes. Browsing market data, using the affordability checker and sending an inquiry are free.
Which cities do you cover?
We focus on U.S. metro areas. Our market pages cover the metros and regions included in NAR's quarterly report.
